Hi, my name is Linda Woodward, I live in Cambridgeshire and started photography in 2007 with an Olympus E330. I have stayed with an Olympus and now use the lighter and more versatile OMD E-M1 Mark II.

I have learned a great deal by being a member of St Neots & District Camera Club and in 2014 achieved the CPAGB award from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and early in 2019 achieved the DPAGB award. This led to me becoming interested in how to assess photographic merit and in 2016 I trained and became a registered judge for photographic competitions organised by other clubs in the East Anglia region. This allows me to meet and enjoy the work of like-minded photographers. More recently, I have become an APM (Awards for Photographic Merit) mentor assisting members of clubs achieve a qualification.

I am probably a photographic butterfly, flitting from one genre to another. An opportunist. I enjoy photographing architecture just as much as people, street photography as much as nature. I also enjoy being creative with the post processing. My aim is to keep improving and producing new and different work.

In 2023 I retired from active judging.
